Basil of Caesarea (the Great)
Basil of Caesarea (a.k.a Basil the Great) (c.329-379) was one of the four great Easternchurch fathers, and so one of the eight Doctors of the church. He supported the Nicene Creed. He was a key figure in the Council of Constantinople.
